Leechmire Farm is a family owned farm growing a variety of winter vegetables including brussel sprouts, swede, carrot, turnip, kale, leeks, celeriac, beetroot, cauliflower, and cabbage.
Dough Works provide creative and fun bread making workshops to all age groups in the North East.
At Dowfold House, we take your breakfast VERY seriously (but not SO seriously that you can’t just enjoy it…). This sounds a bit corny, but we really do seek out the best quality produce, and prepare and present it as well and as carefully as we know how.
We pride ourselves on the professional service our customers receive. 90% of produce sold in our shop is sourced from within a 20 mile radius. We stock a range of locally sourced produce including, beers and wines, jams and preserves, cheeses, milk, ice cream, honey, winter veg and homemade charcuterie. We also sell homemade cakes and desserts.
30-40 lambs are reared annually, born and reared naturally in upland meadows pastures on Environmentally Sensitive herb rich meadow.
Sold by the half or whole animal, butchered into cuts of your preference. Home produced and reared, and slaughtered and butchered 2 miles from farm. Sold directly to the customer. Very loyal customer base.
