New Close Farm Shop has a great range of local, organic and traditional produce and goods. We produce our own fruit and vegetables as well as sourcing from local and organic sources. We also produce, or locally source, traditional breeds of beef, pork and lamb as well as free-range poultry and it's all processed in our own butchery. We make our own sausages, burgers, bacon, etc.
North Wall produces cured meats in the North Pennines to authentic recipes. We use only the best raw materials to create excellent quality, great tasting British charcuterie. We keep our range limited, as we hand craft each and every item over many weeks, to produce great quality meats.
Northumberland Cheese Company has been making cheese for over 25 years now. We currently make over 15 different cheeses which include cow, goat and sheep milk cheeses. We source all of our milk from local farms in Blagdon and Cumbria. In 2010 we created our first blue cheese called Blagdon Blue which is proving to be very popular.
