Burtree Puddings and Burtree House Farm Shop

By Amy - Posted on 19 January 2011

We have a small Farm Shop where all of our products can be purchased. We are open 9.00am-6.00pm Monday to Saturday and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Sundays. We attend several Farmers Markets every month across the region from Newcastle to Stokesley across to Barnard Castle to Hartlepool.

Burtree produces, free range chickens and guinea fowl all of which are produced slowly, without the use of drugs or GM products, both are holders of the highest accolade a 3*** Gold Award from the Great Taste Awards. Burtree also produces the renowned ‘Kelly Bronze®’ Turkey – the rolls royce of Christmas meals!

We also sell ‘Taste Tradition’ from Thirsk Rare Breed Pork & Bacon & Hams, and their traditionally reared Beef, which is Hereford, Belted Galloway, or Angus. This meat compliments our award winning free range chickens and guinea fowl.

TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS – passionate about puddings! Award-winning, Luxury Puddings, the Supreme Champion of the Great Taste Awards - Sticky Toffee Pudding, as well as Reserve Regional Speciality Sticky Lemon Pudding with Tangy Lemon Sauce, the other puddings are Chocolate, Ginger, Rich Toffee, Golden Syrup, and a Gluten-Free Sticky Toffee Pudding and our latest pudding is so addictive – Treacle Parkin Pudding with a Sticky Treacle Toffee Sauce, to finish the selection. All are made with Free Range Eggs, Butter and, of course, Double Cream from our neighbouring Organic Dairy Farm. Burtree also produce Christmas Puddings and have been awarded a Gold **Award for their Deluxe Christmas Pudding. Burtree holds 17 Great Taste Awards for their Pudding range.
