Village Farm is a family dairy farm run by Neil & Carol Peacock and their son Joe. The herd consists of 120 cows all born and raised on the farm. We are passionate about herd welfare, which ensures high quality milk, and we know each cow by name and family history.
In 2011 Neil and Carol diversified into handmade artisan cheese. The cheese is made with fresh milk from the morning's milking, which is supplied to a purpose built dairy by pipeline from the milking parlour - hence our name. All the cheese is made, handled and packed on the farm. Our first cheese was Mordon Blue which won a Bronze medal at the 2012 British Cheese Awards. We also produce Durham Camembert, Mordon Mediterranean (a feta style cheese), Mordon Farmhouse White (a hard, crumbly cheese), as well as a range of flavoured soft fresh cheeses and a soft cream cheese.
We supply local hotels, restaurants, farm shops and delis.
