Highside Farm produces traditional rare breed meat from breeds that were found locally in the past including Teeswater sheep and Shorthorn cattle.
Outstandingly delicious and lean Hereford Beef, hung for 28 days and butchered only 4 miles away. Reared on wild flower hay meadows, our cattle are born and reared on our farm with love and care, winning many prizes at shows. You can stay in our B&B and try our delicious beef or you can buy one of our boxes when the beef is ready.
Leechmire Farm is a family owned farm growing a variety of winter vegetables including brussel sprouts, swede, carrot, turnip, kale, leeks, celeriac, beetroot, cauliflower, and cabbage.
30-40 lambs are reared annually, born and reared naturally in upland meadows pastures on Environmentally Sensitive herb rich meadow.
Sold by the half or whole animal, butchered into cuts of your preference. Home produced and reared, and slaughtered and butchered 2 miles from farm. Sold directly to the customer. Very loyal customer base.
